Blackpool schoolteacher Bryan Smith has marked the Duke of Edinburgh s Award scheme s 25th birthday in a special way - by writing his first novel. Blizzard is based on the adventures of four youngstyers in the Lake District attempting one of the stages in the Duke s Award.
