14 Dec 1979, Gisburn. Employees and guests from Valley Mills, the Nelson factory of Samuel Courtauld and Co Ltd. , held their annual staff dinner-dance at the White Bull, Gisburn, on Saturday. Attended by 101 people, the event was organised by Mrs Christine Anderson and Mrs Barbara Moss, and a spokesman for the firm said it had been very successful. Disco entertainment followed the meal
