Description
A couple of blackbird chicks waiting to be fed by their parents in the nest. Blackbird chicks typically hatch from their eggs after about 13-14 days of incubation by the female. The female incubates the eggs alone, but both parents participate in feeding the chicks. The chicks are fed with earthworms in gardens and caterpillars in woodlands, and fledge around 13-14 days after hatching Photograph
