Makara Morris based at Wansford near Driffield wassail at Side Oven Bakery and orchards at Carr House Farm, Foston on the Wolds in East Yorkshire. A Wassail is the blessing of the fruit trees in hope of a bountiful harvest in Autumn. Wassail is Anglo Saxon from Old Norse ‘ves heill’ meaning ‘be in good health’..
