Nick Jones makes his way off Black Hill near Wesseden Head in West Yorkshire as he tackles the trecherous conditions of the Montane Spine Challenger South race, a 108 mile trek from Edale to Hawes. It is one of four Spine Races which snake up the Pennine Way over the weekend. The main Winter Spine Race set off Sunday, competitors taking on a gruelling 268 mile journey from Edale to Kirk Yetholme
