Liz Ellison in her sewing room in her Kirkham home. She was taught to sew at a very early age and made her own clothes when she was 14 and continued sewing for pleasure. It wasn't until she was looking at universities with her daughter that she realised she could go to uni and study textiles at the ripe age of 47. She applied to Uclan, loved the course and gained a first in textiles and studie
