Description
Fleetwood shipwrecks, on the banks of the River Wyre near Fleetwood Harbour. This boat graveyard has become a tourist attraction over the years. The vessels are mostly all Fleetwood Trawlers left over from the Cod Wars of the 1970’s when ship owners were paid to scrap them by the government. It's thought some of the ships, wooden and metal, have laid here for over 40 years. LEP-240406-1130210
