Description

Bolton Estate in Wensleydale is to launch Curlew Safaris this June with a birdwatching tour. The curlew is Britain’s most endangered wading bird, with a population decline of about 60 per cent since the 1980s. But the estate, a member of the Moorland Association, has a record high of 220 curlew nests this year. This is almost the same number as can be found in the whole of the south of England
