Description
The Chapel of St Mary Magdalen, Ripon (the Leper Chapel) on Magdalens Road, Ripon. This C12 (twelfth century) offered hospitality to lepers and travellers, and later to blind priests and to local poor, and was therefore know as a "hospital". 900 years on the new chapel is still serving the community.
