The Empire or later know as Cannon Cinema on East Street Havant in February 1987. Soul Man and Heartbreak Ridge were showing. In 1986, it was taken over by the Cannon Cinemas chain and re-named Cannon. It was closed on 26th March 1987. There were many protests about this, and other uses such as church or nightclub were hoped for, but nothing happened and the building became derelict. It was demol
