Date: 3rd January 2022. Picture James Hardisty. The Friends of Sandal Castle along with the Frei Compagnie of Towton Battlefield and the Harrington Household groups of re-enactors were taking part in the Battle of Wakefield Memorial March from Wakefield Cathedral to Sandal Castle, lead by the Rt Revd Tony Robinson, Bishop of Wakefield.
