National Railway Museum archives manager Alison Kay views one of the 14 glass plate negatives taken by George Stainton 1852-1926 engine fitter and later an engine driver for the LNWR. George lived in Westbury, Stafford and it is assumed he worked in the maintenance workshop at Bescot Stadium Station. Copy of one of George Stainton s photographs. 3rd November 2021.
