Redcar, late nineteenth Century, Turn of the 20th Century. There was not a lot to do at Redcar at the turn of the century, but these visitors did not seem to mind. They had come to see the sea, and that is what they did, draped over the promenade rails in dark suited droves. Boats, cobbles.
