21 May 2021. . . . . The Hepworth Wakefield is reopening its doors to the public for the first time in over six months; 10 years to the day since the gallery first opened. To mark the occasion, Sophie Bowness, Granddaughter of Barbara Hepworth with  Chief Executive of Wakefield Council Andrew Balchin and Simon Wallis, Director of The Hepworth Wakefield come together to cut a ribbon.  Picture
