Shazia Tariq and her husband Mohammed have run Slaid Hill News on Slaid Hill Court in Shadwell, for more than 16 years. The business specialises in home deliveries and currently delivers 300 newspapers a day to homes in the LS 17 area, including Shadwell, Alwoodley,. Scarcroft and Bardsey. That daily figure of 300 newspapers delivered includes 70 copies of the Yorkshire Evening Post. 11th March
