Wigan and Leigh Hospice launch its new Hospice in your Care Home service at Atherton s Belong Village. Hospice staff will work regularly in eight care homes across the borough and their expertise in palliative care will improve the end-of-life treatment given to patients and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.
