A number of Leeds buildings such as the Civic Hall, Town Hall, and Leeds City Museum have all been lit up Purple in remembrance to mark Holocaust Memorial Day when six million Jewish men, women and children were murdered in the Holocaust, and millions more people killed under German Nazi persecution.
