Date: 20th May 2019. Picture James Hardisty. Burton Constable Hall, Skirlaugh, Hull, East Yorkshire, is having it s medieval stained glass removed by conservators from York Glazier s trust. It will be the first time these windows in the Long Gallery have been removed since WW2 when it was moved to safety shortly before a German bomb caused severe damage to that end of the hall.
