Date: 6th January 2021. Picture James Hardisty. Yorkshire Water are for the first time are trialing a drawdown flow to stream of drinking water from a number of their reservoir. This new initiative is to attempt to prevent flooding in the Calder Valley and will see reservoirs partially drained of their winter waters. Pictured Gorple Upper reservoir.
