This photo was sent in by Mrs Gillian Rimmer it shows a fancy dress street party to celebrate VE Day in May 1945. The action took place in Skeffington Road,Preston. The photo includes my grandparents and my late mother Ada Howitt nee Robinson She is kneeling at the front wearing a white apron.
