A red rose for a well-read customer was the order of the day at a special St Valentine s party in Kirkham. Pledgers News on Poulton Street was visited by the Evening Post promotions girls, waiting to hand out red roses - supplied by Clifton Garden Centre - to people buying the newspaper. Chris Halliday pictured was obviously pleased with his romantic gift, presented by Julie Hollingworth
