Teresa Walker, aged 12, of the Calder Valley Juniors Theatre Society, presents a cheque for £100 for the Evening Courier Bodyscanner Appeal to the Courier’s editor, Edward Riley, in December 1988. With them are society members. The money was raised at the society’s Christmas fair at Youth House, Carlton Street, Hebden Bridge. The cash raised was normally used to finance the following year’
