An RAF Air Rescue Wessex helicopter visited Lisvane School in May 1994. Pictured in the winch is Mallory Barnes looked on by her sister Gail Barnes and fellow pupils. The winch is being operated by Mallory and Gail s dad Lt Barney Barnes, who was also Flight Commander of the Air Sea Rescue flight at RAF Valley.
