Two Union Flags are on permanent loan to The Royal Scots Club, situated in the newly refurbished Hepburn Suite. in 1916 Lieutenant John Buchan Hepburn retrieved the flag which had been left in battle at Gallipoli, returning wounded with the flag wrapped round him.
