In February, 1995, Newby Primary School was one of 500 out of 1,600 schools which were lucky enough to win a Philips CD I video system. Four of the school s pupils are pictured getting to know their new computer, from left to right, Alec Hope, Amy Walker, Natalie Swift and Sam Rawlings.
