Hunmanby Drama Group s John Gordon centre was shaving off his 25-year-old beard for the part of the panto dame in January 1996, and to raise cash for the group s lighting. Looking on is Robin Hood Selina Dodgson, left as the evil Sheriff of Nottingham Chris Girdham tries to chop the beard off with his sword!
