Sunday 6th of September 2015: Scotland. The new Borders Railway Line opens fro business with the first passengers taking the 9: 11 from Waverley. The trains run from Edinburgh Waverley Station to Tweedbank with a total journey time of 55 minutes. The Queen officially opens the line on Wednesday the 9th of September 2015.
