Skelton, near Whitby, 1st August 1961 At 76, Mr. Cornelius Parker, of Skelton-in-Cleveland, between Middlesborough and Whitby, is a shoemaker who still does all his work by hand. Starting his working life as a farm labourer, Mr. Parker later went into the shoemaking business carried on by his grandfather.
