Whitby, 27th September 1960 Whitby Jet Mr. William Cox at work in his attic workshop at Boulby Bank, Whitby. One of the last of the real craftsmen is Mr. William Cox. Mr. Cox represents one third of the active strength of the Whitby jet industry. Only two other men are engaged in the work. He said There are simply not the craftsmen to meet any sudden increase in demand .
