Pictures by Jane Barlow 17 June 2014. A Scottish ‘Crown’ Chair From Linthligow Palace, home of Scottish Royalty, is to be sold at auction at Lyon & Turnbull, Edinburgh, on the 24 June 2014. A small plaque on the Scottish Charles II chair states that it came from Linlithgow Palace, once a stronghold for Scottish royalty and called home by many Stewart kings and queens.
