IMAGES SHOWS DR TACYE PHILLIPSON , CURATOR OF SCIENCE AT THE NMS , HOLDING A SET OF NAPIER S RODS WHICH WERE THE TOOLS HE DEVELOPED TO SIMPLIFY COMPLICATED SUMS.
