Picture by JANE BARLOW. 30th December 2013. The Up Helly Aa Vikings lead the torchlight procession as it makes its way through Edinburgh city centre for the start of the New Year celebrations. Thousands of people joined in the torchlight procession which is followed by fireworks on Calton Hill to mark the start of Edinburgh s Hogmanay celebrations.
