The Minister for Transport and Veterans, Keith Brown MSP, marked the completion of the new Junction 4a of the M8 at Heartlands, the first privately funded motorway junction in Scotland, by cutting the ribbon with key representatives from The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Ecosse Regeneration and Balfour Beatty. 1st year pupils from Whitburn Academy attended the official opening.
