The Great Tapestry of Scotland on Tuesday 03 September at The Scottish Parliament. This is the first time that the 143 metre Tapestry will be unveiled in its entirety. 1000 volunteer stitchers have sewn for over 50,000 hours, using 300 miles of yarn in order to depict over 420 million years of Scotland’s history. The 160 panels that make up the Tapestry will be unveiled to the media. Author Alex
