ENGINEER JOHN THOMSON, WHO VOLUNTEERS AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF FLIGHT IN EAST FORTUNE, EAST LOTHIAN. JOHN HAS RECENTLY BEEN RENOVATING THIS COMET AIRCRAFT AND CAME UP WITH AN INGENIOUS WAY OF KEEPING THE HARSH WIND, RAIN AND SNOW FROM BLASTING IN THROUGH THE HOLE WHERE THE WINDOWS WERE BEING REPLACED.
