28 3 13 Edinburgh. Auctioneers at Lyon and Turnbull are selling a rare Elephant Bird Egg worth £1,200-£1,800 on 6th April. The rare 11 foot bird from Madagascar became extint in the 17th century. Holding the egg, specialist Lydia Stoker.
