Baildon, 5th January 1973 With a fanfare from the famous Hammonds Sauce Works Band, a station which has been closed for the last 20 years once again opened for business. Exactly 20 years after it was closed to passenger traffic, Baildon station yesterday became a stop on the Bradford to Ilkley line - after many months representation by local authorities and organisations.
