Leeds, 7th June 1989 The chairman of the England selectors, Ted Dexter, today launched a major Yorkshire cricket initiative in Leeds. On the eve of the opening Test Match in the Ashes series between England and Australia at Headingley tomorrow, he named an Inter City 125 the Yorkshire Academy of Cricket.
