Leeds, 28th March 1985 A 63 year old steam engine came home in style to Leeds and pulled in on a trailer outside the Civic Hall. The locomotive called Cheetah built by John Fowler and Company in Hunslet, has made a 5,000 mile return journey from India. Former employee of Fowler s Mr, Ted Handley, 82, pictured with the engine.
