Leeds, Middleton, 3rd July 1983 FIREMAN S LIFT Six year old Natalie Booth, of St. Helen s Gardens, Adel, Leeds, meets a trainee locomotive fireman, Mr. Paul Whiteley, during a transport rally. Steam fans were pushed and pulled along the Middleton Light Railway to demonstrate its potential as a tourist attraction.
