Description
BLACKPOOL HISTORICAL North Promenade and the Derby Baths in 1953. The Olympic-class complex opened in 1939 but closed in 1988 after much controversy and protest from Blackpool residents. Although owned by the Blackpool Hilton the actual site of the Derby Baths, demolished in 1990, hasn t been built on since.
