Westcliffe Drive Layton in 1925. The bungalow on the right is the Layton Working Men s Institute, on the corner of Lynwood Avenue . In March 1926 the institute moved across the road to a new purpose built building. The Improvement Bill of 1925 proposed to extend the Layton tramway along Westcliffe Drive to Bispham but this was thown out at a public meeting. dated 12 01 1925 blackpool historical
