Banners and bunting in Clifton Street in celebration of the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary in May 1935. On the left is the Lytham Palace Cinema, built in 1930 it was demolished in 1958 and a Woolworth store was built on the site. Tesco Express has now replaced Woolworth s, but The Ship and Royal on the right remains almost unchanged. Lytham Historical 1935
