ST ANNES HISTORICAL Built in 1912 in St George s Road, St Annes, the Empire originally had a curved roof but in 1929 got a square shape with alterations which made the building bigger. Later it was the Plaza and Studio 123 before it became the Plaza Entertainment Centre with bingo and a casino.
