Children, parents and DJ s enjoy the lift off ceremony for Radio Lollipop as it began broadcasting to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. Celebrities joined in the fun and party games on the wards and broadcasts were made from a giant hot air balloon in the Meadows, June 5 1989. Pictured in the background are DJ s John Leslie, centre right now Wheel of Fortune presenter and Mark Goodier
