A mother and baby help launch Radio Lollipop, at the Lift off ceremony as it began broadcasting to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. Celebrities joined in the fun and party games on the wards and broadcasts were made from a giant hot air balloon in the Meadows, June 5 1989. OLD PICTURE TAKEN FROM THE LIBRARY FOR EDINBURGH EYE.
