Two policeman stand at the Players & Officials gate at Sheffield Wednesday s ground after the Hillsborough disaster in April 1989. 96 football fans died during the Sheffield Wednesday v Liverpool match after being crushed when a sudden influx of supporters onto the terracing forced people against the pitch-side fence.
