Lieutenant Colin Fraser with the regimental colours of the King s Own Scottish Borderers regiment at Redford Barracks in Edinburgh, March 1989. Picture was taken to mark the tricentenary of the regiment, founded in 1689 to protect Edinburgh from the Jacobites.
