Description
Pictured Ovenden Moor Wind Farm near Halifax which has 23 turbines of which each is 32 metres high,with a blade diameter of 34 metres,a total weight of 11 tonnes and has a rotational speed of 35 rpm. The farm generates enough electricity annually for 7,500 homes. Ovenden Moor is 1,411 feet above sea level which makes it an ideal site for a wind farm.
