This folly known variously as Black Dick s Tower, Whitley Moor Gazebo or simply The Temple was the Summer House of the now demolished Whitley Hall, bought by a Mr Charles Sutcliffe in 1924. The house and many of the buildings fell into disrepair but the Summer House still remains to this day. Situated close to the B6118 at Grange Moor, near Huddersfield.
